Fully functioning at UP!
A lot of the patients that come to see us put their bodies through physically demanding, diverse types of trainings week in and week out. It’s truly impressive to learn about some of their fitness routines!
Knowing that we can offer better care to our patients by fully understanding the types of training they are doing regularly, we decided to check out one of patients’ favorite types of training: F45 Training Shanghai.
F45 stands for functional fitness for 45 minutes – an efficient training that utilizes a combination of high intensity and strength building workouts to provide maximum results. More about them, and their two week trial, here:
On a cool February evening, our clinical staff went to the Xintiandi location for a private sweat session, which had everything from mini bands and jump squats (if you’ve been to UP before you’ll know the bands are a regular favorite of ours), to tricep extensions, rowers and box jumps. After four, nearly non-stop laps, by the end of it, we were ready for some recovery treatment!
F45 Training Shanghai has three downtown locations (Jing’an, Xintiandi and Xuhui). They also have a 45 day nutrition-based challenge that starts February 26 (What is the F45 Challenge? | 什么是F45塑形挑战?). If you’ve never been to F45, they have some great offers for first timers!
