UP x Homeslice: Moving better together

UP regularly supports team buildings and workshops, from working with athletic brands to even pizza restaurants! Recently, UP worked with Homeslice to support their mid-year team building focusing on the importance of supplementary exercises everyone can do to build long-term healthy habits.

And while it would be simple to do a basic lecture on the importance of movement, that wouldn’t align with UP’s motto ‘movement is medicine’. So along with tips and research to support movement – the team also organized a little run through of simple exercises everyone can do with our favorite mini bands. Not only that, but thanks to the idea from Homelice, our team of physiotherapists went a step further by observing the workflow of staff. During the team building, the presentation focused on potential physical issues that could arise from their daily work, and how to prevent injuries from those actions.

It was both a fun and educational way to teach their team not only about ways in which they could move better, but also how better movement can support them in their daily routines. A big thank you to Homeslice for trusting us with supporting your team in moving well, and moving often!
